How to Resolve HP Envy M6 Limited Internet Connectivity Problems?
Most of the time, my computer can connect to any wireless network without any problems and can maintain a strong connection. However, without any reason, it will sometimes change to "Limited" instead of "Connected." Repeatedly Disconnecting and Reconnecting will sometimes fix it, but not always. Whether or not I manually try to make it work, it will go to "Connected" for a minute or two before going to "Limited," and so on several times. It will last anywhere from five minutes to four or five hours before finally maintaining a connection. When it loses a connection and goes to "Limited," it also freezes my internet ("Not responding") until I disconnect from the network or it manages to reconnect on its own.
There are periods where I do have good internet, and the time period between episodes of problems can be anywhere from an hour to a week. It only has problems with wireless internet; anything with a direct connection (e.g. ethernet cable or USB) maintains a good connection without any problems for as long as I use it. I've tried it with at least four different wireless networks and the problem has shown up with all of them, so I know it's a problem with my computer. Other computers sitting right next to mine connected to those networks easily at the exact same time that mine was having problems.
